You are immersed in the silence and the psalmody of our community. No small thing in a society where we find silence and inner quiet only with difficulty…
During these days you come to know the different facets of our life: psalmody, lectio (‘prayerful reading of scripture’), inner silent prayer, work, and a real chapter given by our abbot.
There will also be moments of exchange with a brother and with one another.
Above all, though, there will be the experience of sharing our rhythm and of attentive focus, in silence and in activity, on Christ. Parts of the programme take place within our enclosure, others from our guesthouse.
